It is guaranteed to meet or exceed ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1 CAT 6 and ISO/IEC 11801, Class E requirements, and ideal for digital video, 100-Mbps TP-PMD, and 155-Mbps ATM networks, as well as applications such as Gigabit Ethernet and WideBand Ethernet.

Every master spool is tested for electrical performance, and the round cable features cross-web design for strength and performance. It supports full- and half-duplex operation and features flame-retardant PVC jacket and polyolefin insulation.
