The Universal Beltpacks are portable user stations compatible with RTS, Audiocom, and Clear-Com party line systems. Both have the mode-sensing system configuration, meaning the beltpacks can determine what type of system they are installed into and configure themselves according to that system.The BP-4000 and BP-5000 can be ordered with either a 4-pin male, 4-pin female, or a 5-pin female XLRconnector providing, a wide-range of headset options. Dynamic and electret headset microphones are supported. To simplify programming, voice prompts guide the user through the menus. Beltpack are black only. Once plugged in, the beltpacks automatically recognize the wiring scheme and configure the unit for either the Audiocom, RTS or Clear-Com format. Due to a reduced power consumption up to 40 daisy-chained beltpacks can be powered by only one PS-20 power supply. A current pump circuit constantly monitors the cable length versus the actual current consumption to ensure the beltpacks receive the voltage they need.
