BUF Technology introduces the Sport-HD, an HD version of its Sport instant replay system.The new Sport-HD is virtually identical in operation to the SD version, which means operators familiar with the original Sport will face no learning curve to overcome. Sport-HD, which makes replays instant and highlights meltdowns quick and easy to produce, relies on JPEG2000 video compression to maintain high-quality images. HD-SDI interface connectors make Installation simple, and a separate video reference input assures synchronous outputs and frame accuracy.Two channels of analog audio are supported as well as eight channels of digital audio embedded in the HD-SDI. Sport-HD comes ready to use, complete with a removable 500GB hard disk, which holds many hours of content. in one- to six-channel versions, Sport-HD requires only 1/2RU of rack space per channel. Includes TBar, two 500GB hard disk drives and rack mount kit.
