Matrix switch corporation configurable 2RU SDI Video routing switchers offer factory configurable matrix size configurations in input OR output increments of 8 up to 32x32 for a total of 12 different sizes. These systems are 2RU in height and less than 7 inches deep, allowing for installation in space and weight limited situations. An extra audio option provides audio routing capabilities in addition to the included embedded SDI audio routing support. This option is ordered as a separate 2RU device connected via a D25 straight through male to male cable. Either AES digital or analog stereo audio can be chosen. Forced air cooling ensures low internal temperatures for long service life in the most harsh environments and a redundant power supply is also included for added reliability. The choice of a button control panel or status only panel provides an additional savings opportunity for applications that utilize a remote control panel or are only controlled via the webpage interface, telnet or RS-232 serial.
