The Superior AccuTrak WRDP ultrasonic leak detection kit includes the Superior Signal AccuTrak VPR-WX ultrasonic leak detector and AccuTrak VPE-2000 digital ultrasonic maintenance system. The detectors are used to detect leaks of air, steam, and refrigerants in vacuums, valves, and steam traps; detect bearing wear and lubrication problems; inspect circuit breakers, relays, and buss bars for electric arc and corona; inspect pneumatic and hydraulic controls, hoses, and fittings by detecting ultrasonic sound caused by vibrating or worn parts. The AccuTrak VPX-WR ultrasonic leak detector with dynamic noise discrimination (DND) provides automatic frequency tuning to detect leaks in noisy environments. The DND detection method automatically detects broadband ultrasonic frequencies that can be missed by limited-range heterodyne sensors, and are more successful than heterodyne detectors for detecting air leaks in noisy environments. The hermetically sealed case is resistant to steam, dust, and oil for use in harsh environments. The kit includes an over-the-ear hardhat-compatible headset, touch probe and waveguide attachments, NiMH battery, hard-sided carrying case, an instructional video, and instructions.
