Backstop shall be constructed with SportsPlay Sport Panels. The Sport Panels shall be a welded 5' x 10' frame with one center brace and wired with chain link fencing. The tubing to fabricate the frame shall be 1.029 O.D. x 15 gauge galvanized steel tube. The bending strength of the tubing shall equal or exceed that of Schedule 40 pipe. The weight of the hot dipped zinc coating shall be 1.0 oz. /sq. ft. A chromate conversion coating shall be applied to the zinc. A clear thermoplastic electro statically applied acrylic coating shall be .5ml 0.1 thick. The wire fence shall be attached to the frame using 1/2" wide x .020" stainless steel banding and 3/8" knuckle-knuckle. After weaving, the fence shall be hot dipped galvanized to a zinc coating of 2 oz/sq. ft. Posts and hood supports shall be 2.375 O.D. x 13 gauge galvanized steel tube. All clamps shall be pressed steel hot dipped galvanized, all hardware shall be zinc coated.
