In all other aspects, it works the same as a wired system in that it gives your dog a beeping warning when it approaches the selected wireless boundary and if your dog gets too close then it gives your dog a static pulse.

Also, collar will activate tone and static shock when it does NOT receive a signal, eg inside house or under metal roofing or steel shed etc. Always test coverage before putting on the dog.
