This premium anchor line is lightweight and floatable, with a tough hollow braid construction, and a plated steel snap hook for simple, secure anchor attachment. Polypropylene is a synthetic valued for its exceptionally light weight and resistance to rot, mildew, fuel, oil, chemicals, and saltwater. This floatable rope should be replaced yearly if it’s used in an application with high UV exposure, as it is less resistant to UV damage than other synthetics. Hollow braid rope is formed with a circular braid pattern where half the strands go clockwise and half go counter-clockwise. The strands interlock leaving a void in the center. Hollow braid ropes are spliceable.
