The Viking E-30-IP-EWP phone features enhanced weather protection. Special sealants and insulation shields the phone's connections and circuitry from elements like wind, debris and rain. Mount the phone outdoors near entries and access points. The phone's plastic rough-in box supports flush mounting, while the optional VE-5x5 supports surface mounting. Additional components for the phone include a goose neck pedestal for drive-up applications. Connect the Viking E-30-IP-EWP phone to a compatible SIP-based phone system. A single Ethernet cable provides data connectivity and PoE to the phone. VoIP telephony means that the phone only requires the "Call" button in order to open two-way co mm.unications. Up to five numbers can be progra mm.ed into the phone.
